Have not started Insanity yet.....
Well, today would have been week 2 of Insanity if I had started it last week. Unfortunately, I had to put it off after dealing with a lot of family illness, in and out of the hospital. I also had to make an unexpected trip back home to see some family members that are not doing so well. Insanity is still in the picture but my family is first right noq. Workouts are still getting done but not at the intensity that I would like. I'm not a total slacker! :) What are you currently doing with your workouts?

It looks like Insanity again.....
Well, it looks like I will start Insanity again on Monday. I've been pondering over doing that or P90X2 (which I haven't done at all). For some reason, I just love the HELL that Shaun T put me through! After completing ANY Insanity workout, I'm dripping in sweat, I feel like accomplished and get the results that I want. I need to make sure that I continue to get some type of strength added into my workouts. So, I'm trying to decide if I want to do an Insanity/P90X2 hybrid or if I want to do Insanity and add my CrossFit workouts in. I think that I'm going to have to sit down and review some of the P90X2 workouts since I haven't event taken them out of the box! SMH. Has anyone completed P90X2 or done any of the workouts? I will keep you posted on what I decide. What workout did you complete today?

Day 26 of P90x-Insanity Hybrid
Today was Day 26 and the plan called for P90x Core Syn. I just love this workout because it really attacks your core and your able to get a little cardio in. My daughter decided to join me for this workout. Checkout the pic that's attached. Since I am turning it up a bit, I decided to also add in about 25 mins of cardio/strength training. I'm really sore and will need to make sure that I take my Shakeology tonight before going to bed.

P90x-Insanity Hybrid Day 22 - Core Cardio & Balance
So, today was Day 22 of our Fit Phatty hybrid challenge. It's been a long time since I've done Core Cardio & Balance. Can I just tell you that my core is screaming right now!??!?! I'm super excited that it's recovery week because there are some great workouts scheduled this week. Also looking forward to Thursday as that workout is Core Synergistics. Even though it is recovery week, I will add in some of my own additional cardio workouts but plan to take it easy.

P90x-Insanity Hybrid - Day 17: Shoulders, Arms & ARX
Today was Day 17 of our Team Fit Phatty hybrid of P90x-Insanity. I have to say, it was a good day. I was focused on heavier weights in the 8-10 rep range. I'm looking to increase the muscle size in my arms and legs. Needs to say, I worked myself today. By the end of the workout, I was feeling accomplished and pooped! I love when I lift and I can be drenched with sweat and breathe heavy.

Day 5: P90x/Insanity Hybrid Challenge - Legs/Back & ARX
Well, my legs are burning like CRAZY! Today was day 5 of the P90x/Insanity hybrid challenge. What was on tap??? Legs/Back and ARX. I started the morning with 20 mins of running intervals. I then hosted our 6am 8 in 8 workout, which was Cardio Abs. Shaun T puts in down in only 15 mins and my abs feel it and say thank you! Next up, legs and back. My legs are burning from all those squats, skaters and lunges. I'm tryna burn my thighs OFF! I even got my pull ups and chin ups in. I was so proud that I got in 9 chin ups in a row! WOOT....go me! To close my workout, I did Ab Ripper X. Tony put in another 15 min workout that sent me over the edge. This challenge is NO JOKE....you should join me/us!

Day 3: P90X/Insanity Hybrid Challenge - Shoulders/Arms and ARX
So, today was day 3 of the p90x/insanity hybrid. The schedule called from shoulders/arms and ab ripper x. I knew I was going to be in for it because I had to host the 6am 8 in 8 challenge. And of course there was a twist to that workout. I started the day with 30 mins of running intervals. Then we did Insanity's Insane Abs for the 8 in 8. The end my workouts, I completed Shoulders/Arms and Ab Ripper X. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the bonus round because I found out school was closed with no power. I didn't know if it was true because I hadn't heard anything on the news, the school website nor school line was updated and we hadn't received a call. Finally, I saw when of the bus drivers and she confirmed that it was, and then after all that we received a call from the school saying it was closed. Next week, I'll complete the bonus round. I'm feeling really good after today's workouts. I'll continue to stretch to make it through the day.
See you guys tomorrow!

Well since I didn't complete my Day 1 - chest/back and ab ripper x yesterday, I got up this morning and did it. It's been awhile since I've done this dvd, so I know I'm going to be sore tomorrow. Mid Week Check In - Happy Wednesday!
Hey everyone! Happy Hump Day to you! I just wanted to share my week with you all so far. The first thing that I wanted to share was, I know the scale doesn't always matter but I want to point something out. When you put in the work AND eat clean, the results will follow. On Monday, I weighed in at 159 something and this morning I weighed in at 154 something. How have I been doing it?? I'll share. I've put in at least 30 mins of cardio, whether running, jumping rope or doing cardio intervals. As far as my meals, they've been clean, no joke! It's amazing what you can accomplish when you do what you are supposed to. I'll continue out this great and continue my journey on Sunday when we start the P90X/Insanity Hybrid challenge. With that journey, I'll share measurements, pictures, posts and videos. :)
Have a blessed day!

Interval Training
Another beautiful day in the neighborhood! This morning I decided to switch my workouts and do my interval training in the AM and will do Max Recovery this evening. I completed 30 mins of interval training that included a variety of different exercises. I love interval training because it takes that boredom out of a workout and keeps you going throughout the entire time. Below is my after pic from the interval training. I still have Max Recovery to do which I'm really looking forward to...LOVE Insanity!

Back on the grind.....
So, today was my first day back to my hybrid after my vacation. As I mentioned before, I did complete some workouts while on vacation but it was great to be back with Shaun T. And because I was out, I'm repeating week 5. Today's schedule included Max Interval Circuit and Cardio Abs. Let's just saw I was drenched. See my photo below!

Saturday's Workout - 6.25.11
So, today was Day 19 of my P90x/Insanity hybrid. I completed Pure Cardio from the schedule. That workout is so BRUTUAL! I mean, starting off with the warm up, I have to wipe off! As Shaun T says, "I'm spitting sweat!" LMBO! By the time I'm done, I am drenched in sweat! I could do that workout several days a weeks and not get bored. Since my rest day is tomorrow, I decided to step it up today and complete TWO bodyrock workouts (www.bodyrocktv.com) - Take Me Exercise Challenge and Wild & Free Exercise Challenge. I only ended up doing 5 rounds of the Wild & Free Challenge because sweat was running down my face so fast, I couldn't see. And as soon as I wiped it from my face, it was there again. It was messing with my concentration too much. I felt I had already killed it enough today, no need to kill myself! HA! Now I'll enjoy the rest of my day and tomorrow's rest day will either be X Stretch or Yoga......I'll need it!

Day 17 - P90X/Insanity hybrid
Today was D17 of my p90x/insanity hybrid. All I can say is that my legs are still on FIYAH from my morning workout! I love it when I can have a burn that lasts ALL DAY long! It lets me know that I put in some serious work. The schedule only called for Cardio Recovery but I hadn't done a HIIT workout in a few days so I also added TF HIIT 20. I still love my TF workouts and try to add them in when I can. I'm so glad that I did. In just a few weeks, I'll be taking updated photos for my first 30 days. Hopefully, I'll see some sort of change that's taken place. :)
